He said Kwatra invited Hasina to the 18th edition of the Group of Twenty or G20 summit, which will be held in New Delhi on September 9-10 this year.

“This relationship is being further strengthened,” he said.

Hasina said both the countries can come together to improve each other’s socio-economic condition.

Kwatra said New Delhi is trying to ease the terms and conditions of the Indian Line of Credit, or LoC, so that Bangladesh can avail the credit and repay it more easily.

He said that the respective currencies of both the countries can be used to conduct bilateral trade and business.
