Proposed Khan Jahan Ali air port at Mongla sea port has not yet been built. The project started in the year 1995. required land has been acquired in this regard. Many of the equipments purchased earlier are mostly damaged. These equipments worth several crore Taka.
The land acquired is mostly used by temporary police station. Many of the investors are not interested to import or export through Mongla sea port because of ill communication.
