The railway authority said the Sunderban Express has nine stoppages en route from Dhaka to Khulna, including Bhanga in Faridpur, Faridpur City, Rajbari, Pordaha in Kushtia, Chuadanga and Jashore. The Benapole Express will follow the same route, but it will go from Jashore railway station towards Benapole.
The project of building railway tracks on both sides of Padma Bridge is going on. Under this project, rail service was started from Dhaka to Bhanga. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had inaugurated the rail service on this route on October 10 last. However, the movement of trains on this route is going to start from today on commercial basis.
