A three-day photography exhibition on metal works of Bangladesh shipbuilding industry begins at Drik Gallery in the city’s Dhanmondhi yesterday.
The exhibition titled “The Maze of Metal”, sponsored by Western Marine, is displaying more than 51 photographs, snapped by Din Muhammad Shibly, a photo editor of Bangladesh Business magazine and a lecturer of Pathshala.
Deputy Ambassador of Denmark to Dhaka Jan Roller Hensen inaugurated the exhibition, said a press release.
The exhibition is open from 3:00pm to 8:00pm to highlight the promising shipbuilding industry of Bangladesh.
Din Muhammad Shibly at the function said this photography exhibition will tell the success story of Bangladesh ship building industry for next hundreds years.
Western Marine Chairman Saiful Islam and its Managing Director Md Shakhawat Hossain also spoke at the event.
