Some years ago examinees had to seat for exam twice in a day. That was nothing but torture. Later the authority realized that it was not a reasonable practice. The educationalists have been arguing that our syllabus is not standard at all compared to international standard. Syllabus was upgraded few times in recent years. Now students like to have some gap between exams, so that they can take preparation for next exam. It is also necessary for the preparation of hard subjects.

Examinees of upcoming HSC (Higher secondary school certificate) examination are now demanding some change in the exam routine now. They say time between first and second part of biology, chemistry and mathematics is not enough. They staged a demonstration in front of Dhaka board office yesterday. The board chairman Ms. Fahima Khatun is saying that there are six to seven lakh examinees and only a few of them is complaining. She also suspected whether the demonstrators were student.
