The fourth branch of Star Cineplex is ready for action at Mirpur. This modern Cineplex is built on the old Sony Theater premises of Mirpur section two. A fifteen-year long contract was signed between Sony Theater and Star Cineplex in 2019. But covid-19 pandemic delayed the inauguration.
This newly built Cineplex has three theaters with 408, 225, and 136 seat capacity. These theaters have world-class facilities including state-of-the-art giant screens and sound systems.
Tickets will be available from 19th August and the first show will be on 20th August.
Authorities have vowed to follow health guidelines to curb the risk of spreading coronavirus.
Bashundhara City Star Cineplex was the first Cineplex in Bangladesh. Later two other branches were launched at Dhanmondi and Mohakhali.
