Amatullah Bushra, friend of BUET student Fardeen Noor Parash, has been granted bail by a court two months after she was first detained in connection with his death.

Dhaka’s Additional Metropolitan Sessions Court-7 Judge Tehseen Iftikhar granted him interim bail on Sunday. His bail will continue till the police submits the investigation report in the matter.

Fardeen, 24, left his home in Dhaka’s Demra after lunch on November 4, saying he would study with his friends overnight at a residential hall and return home the next day after an exam, much to the dismay of his family.
