Earlier, she arrived in Washington DC on April 29 on the second leg of her three-nation tour, completing her four-day official visit to Tokyo in Japan at the invitation of her Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.
During his visit to the US, the Prime Minister attended an event to mark 50 years of the Bangladesh-World Bank partnership and participated in a number of events, including a roundtable with US business leaders and a visit to the World Bank.
