Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will return home from Bangkok tomorrow after completing her six-day official visit to Thailand.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to depart from Bangkok tomorrow morning (local time),” sources in the PM's press wing said.
Sheikh Hasina arrived here on the afternoon of April 24 on a bilateral and multilateral visit at the invitation of her Thai counterpart Shretha Thawisin to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
Upon her arrival, a red carpet was rolled out to warmly welcome Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, where she was also given a guard of honour. 19 rounds were fired at Don Mueang International Airport here to announce his arrival in Bangkok.
Sheikh Hasina pointed out that the visit is part of the broader focus on “neighbourhood” policy, as it provided an excellent opportunity for both countries to further renew the momentum in bilateral relations.
