Good news for Bangladeshi workers who had to come back home from Libya because of the civil war early this year. Those former workers in Libya may be taken again for rebuilding of Libya.
The newly formed government of Libya is to call for a referendum. Then the elected government will take necessary steps for fresh recruitment. However, former companies that worked before the war are returning to Libya. Those companies will be able to recruit their former workers.
Those former companies may bear the air fare for their former employees.
Many of the workers who returned from Libya had no money. Many didn’t get their salaries.
Around 38,000 workers left Libya during the war. Most of these workers were construction workers.
