Earlier, the BCCI issued a statement saying, “Pant has two cuts on his forehead, torn ligaments in his right knee and also bruises on his right wrist, ankle and toe and abrasions on his back.” It is engaged. And he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scan to ascertain the extent of his injuries and prepare his further treatment, as per the BCCI statement shared with the media.
According to the statement, the BCCI is in constant touch with Pant’s family while the medical team is in constant touch with the doctors treating Pant.
The board said that it will see to it that Pant gets all possible medical attention and gets all possible help to come out of this painful phase.
