The youth seen firing bullets in broad daylight in Pahadtali of Chattogram-10 constituency has been identified as Shamim Azad alias ‘Black Shamim’.
On condition of anonymity, a member of the Chattogram Metropolitan Police confirmed his identity to Prothom Alo
Shamim is known as a supporter of Wasim Uddin Chaudhary, councilor of Pahadtali ward number 13 of the city.
When asked, Wasim Uddin Chaudhary told Prothom Alo on Sunday afternoon, “I don’t know anything.” I have a lot of followers. However, I know Shamim.
