The BNP is scheduled to take out a procession outside its headquarters in Naya Paltan after 2 pm. AZM Vice President Zahid Hussain said that the procession will end at Moghbazar via Kakrail and Malibag and end at the same place.
The platform of anti-government parties is Gantantra Manch, National Press Club constituency, 12-party alliance Fakirapool, Jatiyabadi Somomona Jot in Purana Paltan, Liberal Democratic Party in Panthpath and Jamaat-e-Islami in Betul Mukarram constituency.
The BNP and its allies took out processions in all districts except Dhaka on 24 December as the ruling Awami League held its national council in the capital that day. Later, the program was rescheduled for 30 December.
