Bangladesh tipped to face injured England amid outfield concerns

Normally fast bowlers have fun in Dharamshala, a hilly area with the cold of October, but in the first match it was seen that Bangladeshi spinners dominated amid the scorching heat. However, England will rely on their fast bowlers while Bangladesh will hope that Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz continue their excellent form.

“I think what I would like to highlight is that the spinners performed well, so apart from their skills in that regard I think they read the pitch very well. So, after that they bowl well according to those conditions. In that situation, I am sure both these spinners will bowl, they will assess the situation first, and they will actually bowl as per the pitch,” Herath said.

Bangladesh fielded a batting-heavy side with only three fast bowlers and two all-rounders. The lack of a sixth bowler can create a big problem against a strong batting lineup like England. Herath informed them that they would select eleven as per the condition.

On the other hand, Buttler, who has played IPL matches here, said that they are considering bringing in an additional seamer.

“Yes, it is definitely an option. I have just played here in the IPL and the wicket can have good pace and bounce. So definitely, we will have those discussions and we have great options within the team to have different lineups with a different balance and yes, definitely something we will consider,” the English captain said.
