Zahid Malek has said that the government has gone ahead to introduce a health card system for all citizens to provide medical services.
A proposal on the project is now with the Planning Commission, the health minister said at a dialogue organized by the Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters’ Forum on Tuesday.
“The health card will have all the health information of the citizens. Other countries also have health card systems,” he said, expressing hope that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would approve the plan.
