Shahryar Alam said that the process of repatriating Bangladeshi citizens living in Sudan has started with the help of another country and the Bangladeshi mission in Khartoum has already started spreading this message among Bangladeshis there.
“How Bangladeshis will leave the country depends on the situation in Sudan. All are requested to follow the instructions of the Embassy on registration and other necessary procedures. I would request journalists in Bangladesh not to contact the embassy as all the mission staff are busy right now and for security reasons it is better not to disclose the departure route of Bangladeshis. We want cooperation from all.
