The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and like-minded parties held rallies at six places in the capital on Wednesday as part of a simultaneous agitation against the government.
On the day of programs by BNP and its like-minded political parties, the ruling Awami League also brought out a counter rally in the city.
Now BNP is going to make a counter program against the counter programs of Awami League.
A member of the BNP’s policy-making body Prothom Alo confirmed the development and said that his party viewed the AL programs as an attempt to incite political unrest in the country.
The BNP may announce programs against the counter program of the ruling party from the rally to be held in Dhaka on Wednesday. However, the 10-point demand will remain the same as before.
