Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has conducted the oral examination of a candidate named Debashish Biswas of 29th BCS examination after 13 years.
Sources confirmed that BPSC constituted a special viva board which interviewed Debashish.
Debashish applied for the 29th BCS examination in 2009 and passed the written examination. But he was not allowed to appear in the oral examination as he could not bring the receipt for the money with him for the examination.
Later in 2011 he filed a writ in the High Court. After a legal battle of 13 years, Debashish finally appeared for the oral examination on February 25 at the BPSC office in Agargaon.
A BPSC source said a special board has conducted Debashish's viva following due procedure.
