After 3 consecutive days of fall Dhaka stock exchange had a sharp rise today (Thursday).
DSE General Index stood at 7986.91912 which is 55.30808 point higher than that of yesterday, and in percentage it was 0.6973121% higher.
A total of 241 companies traded. Among these 163 issues Advanced, 73 issues declined and 5 remained unchanged.
Yesterday (Wednesday) stocks lost only 8.67 points as a quiet price correction on the bourse continued for the straight third day.
The benchmark general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange shed 0.10 per cent to close at 7,931.61 points on the day. The index lost 25.49 points in three days.
