Eight killed in attack on Islamic State targets in Afghanistan

A Taliban spokesman said on Thursday that eight people were killed and seven were arrested in raids on Islamic State militant group hideouts in Afghanistan.

Describing Wednesday’s raid, spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said on Twitter: “These members had a key role in the attack on the Chinese hotel and paved the way for foreign ISKP members to enter Afghanistan.”
