As per the organisation’s decision, traders will stop purchasing from depots from next Wednesday (January 18) and sales to consumers indefinitely next Sunday (January 22).
Speakers at the meeting said, “The supply of fuel has been less than the demand for a long time. Sylhet oil traders have no option but to protest.”
The announcement was made by Zubair Ahmed Chowdhury, Central General Secretary and President of Sylhet Divisional Committee and Humayun Ahmed, General Secretary of Sylhet Divisional Committee.
