“We have to consider the quality, traditional status and cultural environment of this heritage,” he said.
He said, the government is working to ensure its unique status and fish breeding area and make it pollution free.
The workshop, chaired by Nahid Rasheed, Secretary, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, was attended by Director General of Fisheries Khondokar Mahbubul Haque, among others.
