Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday said BNP publicity secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Ani, who was arrested in two cases, was not tortured but had lied in court.
“Annie did not seek bail. So, she was arrested by the law enforcers. She was not tortured. But she made false allegations in the court. No door of her house was broken (during the arrest). She noted Lied to attract the court,” he said.
