Bangladesh’s first 5 star hotel Ruposhi Bangla will be re organized and re developed in next two years. Around 40 million USD is expected to be used for this development work. This work will be started from the mid 2014 and expected to be ended up on December 2015. In the mean time, the hotel will remain closed. According to the deed with Inter continental Hotels group, the hotel will be branded and renamed as ‘Inter Continental Dhaka’. After the development work, the number of room will come down to 231 from 277. The swimming pool, gymnasium and spa will be more modernized after development work.
