Shipping and logistics group AP Moller-Maersk has agreed to sell two of its logistics sites in Russia to IG Finance Development Ltd, it said on Monday, marking the end of its business activities in the country.
The group said the sale of an inland depot facility with a capacity of 1,500 containers (TEU) in Novorossiysk, and a chilled and frozen warehouse in St Petersburg, had received regulatory approval in the EU and Russia.
“We are pleased to have found a new owner for our two logistics sites in Russia and thus have executed on our decision to sell all of our assets in the country,” Chief Commercial Officer Carsten Kildahl said in a statement.
