Ashish Kumar Kundu, Director General (Legal and Licensing Department) at BTRC, said Grameenphone owed Tk 11.6 billion, Banglalink Tk 6.25 billion, Robi Tk 5.65 billion and Airtel Tk 59.05 billion as of November 22 last year.
He said that BTRC will get 100 per cent revenue from operators and 15 per cent VAT cannot be added.
BTRC’s counsel Barrister Khandekar Reza-e-Raqib said that BTRC would definitely get its dues from the operators as it had not demanded money illegally.
