The writers, who got the first glimpse of the deal on Tuesday, said they were pleased with the outcome.
“I’m very happy with the profit we made,” Leila Cohan, author of the hit series “Bridgerton,” told AFP.
“I’m very proud that we really went for it. Things became very challenging for many members, and we prevailed… more than many of us could have believed.”
