Two Bangladeshi teenagers tortured by BSF

borderIndian Border Security Force, BSF has already made world record in India Bangladesh border in terms of death toll. They are notorious for their human right violation record. They faced intense worldwide criticism when a fifteen year old Bangladeshi girl Felani was shot dead by BSF soldiers and her body was hanged on the barbed wire fence. Later only one soldier was alleged by BSF internal inquiry and he was released by a BSF court.

It’s an international practice to arrest intruders and then send them back to their country or lodge complain in the court. But BSF likes shot on sight policy. They have been claiming that they are using non lethal weapon. But they are using innovative techniques to harass and torture unarmed people. They beat with stone, killing people by drowning, raping woman in front of her son. But they have been silent against drug peddlers coming in Bangladesh. Sometimes they are threatening Bangladeshis not to cultivate on their own land nearing Indian border.

Torturing of two Bangladeshi teenagers by BSF is the latest addition. Tazuddin and Shariful Islam of Kharidanga  village under Benapole police station are only fourteen years old. They were visiting the residence of their aunt on the Eid vacation. But BSF suspected them as smuggler; captured on Saturday then tortured them with stick. Later they were handed over to Bangladeshi border guards.
