The Lebanese army said two migrants were killed and 232 others were rescued after a boat capsized off the Lebanese coast on Saturday.
The army said three naval ships and a boat operated by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) took part in a rescue operation off Selta, north of Lebanon’s capital Beirut.
