Mirza Fakhrul further said that the dependent government does not oppose incidents like killing people by firing on the border and looting, attacking and even raping people in encroaching Bangladesh. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken Bangladesh hostage to retain her power.
Despite sacrificing everything to remain in power, the people of Bangladesh will not compromise even an iota. This is why people should rise above party and faith and oppose the killing of Bangladeshis on the border.
Only a government elected through fair and free voting can guarantee the security and sovereignty of the people of the country, the BNP general secretary said.
