British police said on Monday that a 22-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a drive-by shooting in London left a seven-year-old girl and five others with life-threatening injuries. on Saturday.
A 12-year-old girl was among those injured and was taken to hospital with a minor leg injury but was later released.
Police said four women, aged 21, 48, 54 and 41, were also taken to hospital after being shot, with a 48-year-old woman suffering potentially life-changing injuries.
The shooting took place near a church in north London, not far from Euston station, where a funeral was taking place.
