Its judges said this includes food, water, electricity, fuel, shelter, clothing, sanitation and hygiene needs, as well as medical supplies and medical care to Palestinians throughout Gaza.
“Palestinians in Gaza are now not only at risk of famine, but … are facing famine,” the Hague-based court said.
The war broke out after Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza on October 7, resulting in some 1,160 deaths – mostly civilians – according to an AFP tally based on official Israeli figures.
The militants also captured about 250 hostages, of whom Israel believes 130 remain in Gaza, including 34 believed dead.
Israel's retaliatory offensive has killed at least 32,552 people, mostly women and children, according to the health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza.
