“Bangladesh and France also show great convergence in addressing global challenges, especially within the framework of the Paris Agenda for People and Planet, which Bangladesh actively supports,” the declaration said.
It added that since the country is particularly vulnerable to climate change, the President would recall France’s determination to stand with Bangladesh on the humanitarian front, especially in the face of regular floods.
The declaration further stated that Bangladesh is an important contributor to international solidarity actions, whether through its troops in peacekeeping operations or hosting Rohingya refugees.
