The former MP passed away at 4:37 am on Wednesday, his press secretary Aniket Rajesh confirmed.
Siddiqui was one of the leaders of Mujib Bahini.
Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui took an active part in all the political activities of the time, which included participation in the Six Point Movement and the Language Movement.
