Home Minister Advocate Sahara Khatun today said those involved in the lynching of six students in the night of holy Shab-e-Barat at Aminbazar under Savar Thana would be punished.
“None would be spared if found responsible for the brutality,” she said while talking to journalists after attending a meeting of the board of directors of Police Staff College at Mirpur in the city.
Among others, Home Secretary Abdus Sobhan Sikder, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hassan Mahmood Khandker and Rector of the Police Staff College Naim Ahmed were present at that time.
