In line with the one-day state mourning in Bangladesh, the United States Embassy in Dhaka will fly flags at half-mast to mourn the deaths of Palestinians in recent air strikes by Israel.
Ambassador Peter Haas has ordered the embassy flag to be lowered to half-mast as the United States mourns the loss of every innocent person, the embassy said in a statement Friday.
The statement also quoted US Secretary of State Antony Blinken as saying that America mourns the death of all citizens of every religion and nation.
