Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, “If Khaleda Zia has to go abroad for treatment, the permission given to her to stay at home by suspending her sentence will have to be cancelled. He will have to go back to jail and appear before the court. He will have to take permission from the court.”
The Prime Minister said this in an interview given to American media outlet Voice of America. Voice of America’s Bengali service head Shatarupa Barua interviewed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her visit to Washington.
