Leaders call off strike at Barapukuria Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Port Protection Committee and the local people of Phulbari uapzila withdrew the indefinite strike.
This was withdrawn after a meeting between the local leaders of National Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Port Protection Committee and dinajpur district administration held at the local rest house of Roads and Highway Department.
No one from the Barapukuria Coal Mine Company Ltd (BCMCL) was present in the meeting
Dinajpur district administration accepted the demands of the agitated people partially and provided assurance that the demands of the agitated people will be met soon.
