A police team led by KMP assistant commissioner Gopinath Kanjilal conducted an operation on the ground floor of the two-storey building on Monday night and rescued the girls. KMP Commissioner said that the police team arrested six human smugglers from the spot.
The arrested persons include Milton Mandal, 40, and his wife Khadija Begum, 22, Saiful Islam, 21, and his wife Rabeya Begum, 20, MD Himel, 21, and Ratna Akhtar alias Payal, 20.
Police also recovered various sex related materials from their possession.
